Sometimes when you read a story in the newspaper it might change your mind about something. Or a moving story might change your heart. But for me, one story changed my whole life.
I read a short story, actually just a press release, about a printing franchise. At the time they were only located in Atlanta where I lived but they were making preparations to expand and offer locations throughout the Southeast, starting with Tampa, Florida. I was looking for a new job opportunity and my wife had family in Tampa. It was after business hours but I called the corporate office and the president answered. A few months later I quit my job, sold my house, took all of our savings, went through three weeks of training, and we loaded up the truck and moved to Tampa.
We arrived in Tampa on a Monday and showed up at the empty storefront where our business would be. In a whirlwind of activity over the next few days came carpet, tile, divider walls, painting, store fixtures, electric and phone lines, a copier, a press, shelving, paper and press supplies, and a flyer announcing our opening was mailed to local businesses. The following Monday they handed me the keys to my business and gave me an 800 number to call for support. Ready or not we were in business.
That was 1984. I spent the next few months going door to door and visiting almost every business in a couple mile radius of our location. Thirty years later we are still here and I try to make every day feel like a grand opening. I am no longer a franchise, and the printing industry has had radical changes with the evolution of technology, but basically we are doing the same thing because, in my mind, the product that I sell is the service provided by my staff using the tools of the equipment we have and the knowledge we have gained with experience.
We invite you to consider using our printing firm the next time your company needs printing. There's a reason why we continue to add new customers every month of every year and we would love the opportunity to demonstrate that for you on your next printing order. We believe we can provide the best all-around experience for you if you'll give us a try.
If you would like to talk to one of our customer service representatives, please call 813-875-7083. We would be happy to discuss how we can help your business succeed and prosper. Feel free to ask for me when you call, and to inquire about taking a short tour of our business. I am very proud of my business and nothing is more fun than showing it off to our customers. -Bradley Krantz, Owner.
